In 2025, Oasis member Noel Gallagher bought his five-story mansion

According to reports from The Standard, Noel Gallagher bought his GBP 11.5 million Grade II-listed north London mansion back in 2025. However, the property had significant damage and needed extensive restoration and construction. Soon after, the Oasis member applied for planning applications and council approvals for the extensive renovation project—addressing a leaking roof, rising damp, and structural movement—which were reviewed and greenlit by Westminster City Council through mid-to-late 2026.

What upgrades does Noel Gallagher want for his mansion?

According to online reports, the musician wants several issues fixed and some additions made to the five-story building. These include a bespoke entertainment space designed and situated in the home’s lower level. A private cinema room dedicated to screening movies within the home’s primary living areas. Along with that, he also wants to install a private gym combined with an adjacent sauna, plus guest accommodation. There is an adjoining building on the property that Noel is looking to convert into a guest house, a self-contained, one-bedroom guest suite.

Noel Gallagher’s permit also includes a lot of construction work as well

The 19th-century mansion had many issues, including persistent roof leaks, damaged roof coverings, and rising damp across the lower-level walls. Other than that, he has also been meaning to correct the historical structural movement and stabilise its interior frameworks. He is also looking to strip out all of the past interior modifications that clashed with and directly went against the property’s listed architectural design. Lastly, according to the report, Noel has also been looking to restore the original doors, architraves, cornices, and timber wall panelling in the house to maintain its cultural integrity. To maintain the space’s integrity, the musician plans to install double-glazed sash windows, which are especially used for conservation purposes. He also does not want to disturb or destroy any of the original walls and is going to be working on repairing the internal plumbing, electrical, and heating services from all of its existing conduits rather than breaking open a wall. Lastly, according to the report, the star also wants to use reusable materials that can be repurposed, all the while ensuring that all non-reusable items are recycled.Gallagher also owns an 8 million GBP 18th-century country mansion in the Hampshire South Downs, which he got after he divorced Sara MacDonald. Some of the other properties that he has owned over the years include Supernova Heights, Little Venice Villa, and Ibiza Cliffside Villa (Casa Atlantis).
