Recalling her first encounter with Rajinikanth, Vidya Balan told Variety India that she had expected a grand entry from the superstar. “I expected that his entry, you know, there would be trumpets at his entry. But he just walked in silently,” she said. The actor was chatting with the director, cinematographer, and other crew members when Rajinikanth walked towards the group without any special attention or fanfare. His quiet arrival surprised her, but it also gave her an early glimpse of his personality. Vidya Balan said she admired how naturally he carried himself despite being one of Indian cinema’s biggest stars.
